Each year the Workplace Gender Equality Agency publishes the annual key findings on gender equity in Australia’s. It includes figures on the gender pay gap, industry comparisons, women’s workforce participation, women’s representation in leadership and emerging trends in employer action.

The most recent findings show between 2017-2018 there was the largest single-year drop in the gender pay gap for five years, but men still take home $25,717 a year more than women on average.
